Invited Speaker Nominations for 2027 Brisbane
Nominations are now open for invited speakers for RANZCO 2027 in Brisbane!
Before nominating, please read through the below information.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Only Fellows can nominate speakers
- Fellows cannot nominate the same person for more than one lecture
- There is no limit to the number of nominations for Fellows (Special Interest and Subspecialty Groups are only allowed one nomination)
- Nominations must be submitted online. No hard copies or email submissions will be accepted
- Update Lectures can only be given by international speakers or internationally recognised speakers
- Repeat speakers for the same talk will only be allowed after 5 years
Nominations close midnight (AEDT) Thursday 19th March 2026
Your nomination/s will be forwarded to the Scientific Program Executive Committee for review and consideration.

Background on Lectures
Questions you will be asked when submitting your nomination/s
- Your name, phone and email address.
- Name of proposed speaker.
- Name of lecture for proposed speaker to present at.
- Proposed speakers area of discipline.
- Proposed speakers location and institution.
- Knowledge of speaker:
- Read their research
- Knowledge of their career
- Research Collaborator
- Colleague
- Fellowship in same department
- Personal Friend (potential conflict of interest)
- Presents well to an audience
- Other
- Proposed speaker’s contact email address and/or phone number.
- Justification for speaker’s nomination: (Provide any other information which may assist the committee when considering the person as a speaker).
- Declare any relationships (conflicts of interest) you may have with the nominee. This information will be given to the executive for the voting process.
- Indicate if the nomination is on behalf of a Special Interest Group (SIG) or Subspecialty Group (Groups are only allowed one nomination).
- Upload any supporting documentation.
