New Zealand entry requirements
Valid passport
You must have a valid passport to enter New Zealand. Check its expiry date to make sure it meets the rules for acceptable travel documents.
Visa or NZeTA, if required
If you are not a New Zealand or Australian citizen, you may need to apply for a visa or an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) to enter New Zealand.

The New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) system collects your travel, customs, immigration and biosecurity information.
It is FREE and everyone travelling into New Zealand must complete a declaration, including New Zealand passport holders.
