Important Information

(1) Orthoptists must register and book accommodation with Orthoptics Australia. Please visit www.orthoptics.org.au for more details.

(2) Early Bird Rate
To qualify for early bird registration, registration fees must be received by the 22nd  September 2026. Registration fees are based on date of payment receipt, not the date of receipt of registration form.

(3) Late Rate (Fellows and RANZCO CPD Customers only)
The late rate will apply to registrations and/or payments received from 19 October 2026.

(4) Onsite Rates
Onsite rates apply to all attendees for registrations processed from 6th November 2026 at Congress.

(5) Member Rates
To qualify for member rates, you must be a financial member of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. Your membership status will be verified upon registration. Please contact RANZCO directly for further details at ranzco@ranzco.edu

If your application for membership is still in process, you don’t have to wait for receipt of confirmation of your membership status in order to register at the member rate for the Congress. We will check your membership status closer to the Congress date, or you can send an email to ranzco@thinkbusinessevents.com.au once your membership is confirmed by the College.

(6) Day Registration Rates
Delegates can only purchase ONE day registration.
If more than one day registration is required, then a FULL registration must be purchased.

(7) Please note that there will be an additional $100 on top of the standard rate for all onsite registrations.

(8) The Accompanying Partner registration is for non-health care professionals only. It includes access to the Graduation, Welcome Reception and catering in the exhibition hall (no access to sessions).

(9) If you would like to attend the Global Eye Health workshop only, please send an email to ranzco@thinkbusinessevents.com.au

Insurance of any kind is NOT included in registration fees – it is advised that delegates take out appropriate health and travel insurances prior to travelling. The RANZCO Congress and Congress Office do not take any responsibility for delegates failing to insure.

Payment

All payments must be received prior to the Congress.

All amounts in the registration form are in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and inclusive of (NZ GST) 15%.

Once your registration has been processed, a receipt of payment will be emailed to you, to the email address you provide as contact in your registration.

Medical Student Grant RANZCO offers a select number of discounted registrations for medical students working in Australia or New Zealand who could not otherwise attend the Congress.

Successful applicants can access the following rate reductions:

  • In-person for the duration of Congress $640

VTP Trainee Registration Grant RANZCO offers a select number of complimentary in-person registrations for RANZCO Vocational Training Program participants (RANZCO Trainees) to attend Congress.

Applicants must be current RANZCO Trainees i.e. participating in the RANZCO Vocational Training Program (VTP). Other applicants will be disregarded.

First Nations, Māori and Pacific Congress Support Grants ANZEF is pleased to offer a limited number of grants to support in-person attendance at the RANZCO Annual Scientific Congress, to be held from Friday 6 November to Monday 9 November 2026.

These grants are available to medical students and junior doctors in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, Māori, and/or Pacific peoples.

Two types of opportunities are offered:

  • ANZEF Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship to Attend RANZCO Congress
  • ANZEF Grant for Māori and Pacific Trevelyan-Smith Indigenous Scholarship Recipients to Attend RANZCO Congress

Beware of phishing scams
